I'm so ready for a fun adventure, wanna come along?? I think I'm a lot of happy to be around and feel confident that I can bring out the best in anyone, a little shy perhaps in the beginning but that makes for great listening skills. I have learned the hard way always, and am just now beginning to see the fruit of that labor :) I have touched the center of my sorrow and do not fear pain - it is by finding grace when hurting that growth is possible. Without a doubt I believe that Laughter is the best medicine, and that Hugs can cure almost anything.I dream of meeting my heart's longing ~ a man who can appreciate hiking boots and high heels, lace, silk and overalls; who loves his job, his family, and has passions that can be shared; who thrives on music and good books (I love to be read aloud to) who can be creative in the kitchen; who loves to make love at the drop of a hat, who has a spontaneous and mischievous, kind, patient, FUNNY and open-minded nature; who’s confident enough in himself to allow me to keep growing in my own; who loves being outdoors no matter the weather, but can sit by a fireplace and sip a glass of wine with me, take a bubble bath with me or cuddle under my flannel sheets; who can explain (with patience) what calls the refs are making in any given sport we may be watching together; and who knows truly that age is just a number that doesn’t come close to defining me.I love my work. I believe the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few, and that we should learn to live simply so that others may simply live. I am finally grateful to be alive and am beginning to know what a peaceful heart feels like. I embrace the chance to keep learning ~ my acoustic guitar which needs a good dusting, how to make flawless eggs benedict, tennis, snowboarding, Italian, soap and paper . . . I want to learn everything. I stop to watch birds, smell flowers and appreciate other's joy and I DANCE with abandon to exhibit my own.I'm always open to new friendships and adventures with active, compassionate, courageous, touchers, dancers, healers, thinkers, passionate, altruistic, egalitarian, sunrise and sunset watching, sand castle building, kite flying, music loving, spiritual . . . others ~ Jealousy, bigotry, racism, leaning too far right and watching lots of TV does not describe any of my friends.Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile."I pledge allegiance to the earth, one planet, many gods, and to the universe in which we spin -- interconnected, interwoven, full of harmony, with love and balance for all."
