Hi! Our names are Chip and Po. Chip is a rare breed of brindle dapple. Po is a more common black and tan. We love meeting other dachshunds, but we don't get on the ocmputer all too often. We would rather burrow under the covers and sleep for 18 hours.
Characteristics you MUST know about dachshunds:1) We are very stubborn. We will do what we want when we want and where we want. That includes going to the bathroom on the floor. We know the consequences, we don't care! Esp, Chip!
2) We are extremely loyal dogs. We love our family and miss them dearly when they are gone. Even 5 minutes feels like an eternity!
3) We love attention. Spoil us, give us toys, give us food, esp treats! Play with us. We love to cuddle on laps under a nice warm blankie. We also enjoy the warmness of the fresh laundry from the drier! Oh, and we will always take over the bed when we can!
4) We bark to get your attention. Don't step on us! Don't forget we're really low to the ground, so we have to get your attention some how!
5) Doing the "Groundhog" will always get us what we want! It's the cutest and most natural position for us. Look into my eyes- we will take over the world!
