Da Arsonist Bio
Building a name for yourself in the music business is no easy task, especially when you’re out of the “inner circle,†but Lava Boy, Gassa Lean, Pyro, and Flame of the Buford, GA bred group Da Arsonists are looking to prove that theory wrong. Combining an interesting blend of swagger, versatility, consciousness, and crazy word play, they are trying to quickly cement their names on top amongst a new wave of young southern talent. Ask them how they got their names and they almost uniformly say “It speaks for itself,†in a humble way. “We Da Arsonists because we fya whether playin’ sports or gracin’ da mic,†laments 21-year old Lava. Growing up in the small town of Buford , GA , on the northern border of Gwinnett County , “About 25…35 minutes away from Atlanta ,†jokes 23-year old Pyro, life isn’t as easy as the country name suggests. In a place where cows are as scarce as walking fish, and dope boys are as familiar as the back of your hand, trouble is an easy thing to find. “If you ain’t playin sports, it’s like you bound to fuck up and go to jail,†scoffs 22-year old Flame. “As I recall, in 1978 we was da drug capital of GA, and shit is still flowin’ through here, da pizza man won’t even travel on dis’ road,†adds 21-year old Gassa Lean while preparing to light a perfectly rolled blunt. They are set out to do the virtually impossible where they are from, accomplish a big dream. The group has goals of being long time, consistently successful artists. Their inspiration comes from the fact that they don’t want to become a statistic. Flame’s father, Otis, was a positive father figure in all four of the group member’s lives (three of the four group members didn’t have a male role model in the household) and let them know that no matter what they were told they could be what ever they wanted to be in life. They now want to be an inspiration to the younger generations by letting them know that they could follow their own dreams by ignoring the bullshit life throws at them and concentrate on the tasks at hand. On a collision crash course to success, Da Arsonists definitely has what it takes to be “heavyweights†in the music industry. They prove it with every track they drop. Be on the lookout for Da Arsonists because they will finally be in the inner circle for a long time to come. Scrollbox Code from KillerKiwi.net
