I admire grammatical dexterity and large vocabularies, but then I plop down a run-on sentence without a second glance.
I'm a cheese snob -some people talk about running away to join the circus; I seriously considered running away to a dairy farm/artisan cheese crafter in Vermont or Wisconsin. But then I realized that Vermont and Wisconsin are boring states. Plus goats are mean and smell bad and their poop pellets creep me out. I spend an hour in front of the cheese aisle with my fingers on my chin debating whether or not spending 10 bucks on a wedge of imported raw sheep cheese impregnated with truffles and rubbed in cinnamon is a good idea. (It wasn't.)
I'm also a light-weight. Two beers and I'm your best friend. Your best friend who talks about cheese and how broke she is and literature/art/movies but not politics. Very loudly. You think I'm joking. I'll bet you two pints I'm not.
My plan for life is now as follows: 1) become an academic librarian, possibly a music librarian. 2) I've got one word for you: plastics. And learning how to mold them into workable, fantastic glasses frames. 3) Write a history of eyeglasses, possibly in comic book form but more likely just your average tome with pretty glossy pictures. 4) Vehemently deny that I have a glasses fetish. 5) Learn more Russian and Lit Theory.
