So, what would you like to know about me?
• Currently a bachelor student at the College of Kristiansand, studying
Development Issues. I went to
Tanzania on a study tour this January,
in an attempt to fully understand the state the poor actually live in. I
realized that it's time I start appreciating what I've got, so the trip was
of
good use to say the least.
• As well as studying development, I am also taking a one year study in History. In other words, I'm actually trying to complete my 3-year bachelor in only 2 years. Wish me good luck!
• I went to the Philippines in January for about a month and completely fell in love with the country and the people! In March I signed on the chemical tanker Bow Sun for another month of field work. The Filipinos onboard were great and taught me a lot!
• In addition to all this, I work twice a week at OSM, a shipping
management. I'm a crewing assistant and my mum is kinda my boss.
I can't say I can complain about my job, because I should really consider myself lucky to get the chance to be part of such a great team!
• I'm a
gamer - sad but true. That means that I'm into computer games
and everything surrounding the matter. Kind of a geek, I guess. I also love web designing, even though I might not be any good at it. A dream of mine is to become a talented web designer one day anyway. I have two domains: www.littlemuffin.com and www.karpe-diem.net
• I truly adore animals
- especially my 8-year-old guinea-pig Devon. He's
getting old, but is still going strong!
• Movies are my passion -
and I just can't stop watching 'The Gladiator'.
Joaquin Phoenix is definitively one of the greatest actors of all time!
• I'm kind of a complex person. If you can say you undestand me completely, you're better off than I am myself! For instance, I don't eat pork (and I'm neither Muslim, Jewish or vegetarian), I don't eat the 'head' of eggs, and I never drink soda or milk. I love the work of composers like James Horner, John Williams and Hans Zimmer, but I also embrace Norwegian rap/hip-hop. Especially Karpe Diem.
• I absolutely love to travel, and I don't ever get tired of exploring new and unfamiliar cultures and peoples.
