ANAHATA

About Me

Well here it is! –ANAHATA- the 2nd ep from throwbackforward. ANAHATA – the heart chakra. Represented by a green lotus flower. I thought that made a lot of sense for how things went down with this collection of songs. It’s very raw, and not as edited or layered. Things were basicly as they were the day they were written. 3 songs have been posted, Youandi is a song that came together in a day. So I just love that about it.There was a lot of emotional time invested in this so while there could have been more attention to detail in the perfection of each performance, the attention went to writing stuff I actually liked listening to after I was done recording it. Flaws and all! And as usual I always throw in a remake, this time choosing the 70’s super group Supertramp. The song always gave me chills so I had to see what I could do to it. Forget my name is a song that was a collaboration I did in 2003 with Bill Gould of faith no more. It also has Jon Hudson on guitar. I just thought this song was too cool to not let people hear. It wont be on the CD. There are 3 more songs to ANAHATA, which will be available for sale through email or an online store soon to be determined.Hope you like what you hear, and if you do please leave a comment!!!

Music

If music is dying, musicians are killing it. Composers are the ones decomposing it. We are as responsible as anyone--although we'd love not to admit it. We lash out at "The Industry", blaming things l...
