About Me
Known internationally as the guitar player for the multi-platinum rock band “CRAZY TOWNâ€(1999 to 2003), the singer/songwriter in the bratty, self-titled pop-rock project “TROUBLE VALLIâ€, and the producer/multi-instrumentalist behind “TROUBLE VALLI PRODUCTIONSâ€, Anthony “Trouble†Valli has spent the last ten years establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the music business. As the lead guitar player in CRAZY TOWN, Trouble played on and co-wrote two full length albums for release on Columbia records. With the release of their third single “Butterflyâ€, off the album “The Gift of Gameâ€, CRAZY TOWN grabbed the number one slot on the billboard top 200 and managed to go number one in countries all over the world. With gold and platinum records from the United States, Canada, and Germany, Trouble reached a status rarely achieved among recording artists. In addition to endorsement deals with companies like Puma, Hurley, Adidas, Homeboy Couture, Mesa Boogie, Randall, Dean Markley and Line-6, Trouble was offered his own signature model guitar, built by Schecter Guitar Research and sold all over the world to guitar players and Trouble Valli fans alike.
In 2003, nearing the end of CRAZY TOWN, Trouble started TROUBLE VALLI PRODUCTIONS, a company geared towards helping independent artists reach their creative goals in the recording studio. An accomplished singer, guitar player, bass player and keyboard player, Trouble found his broad range of skills to be a strong asset when developing singers, songwriters and bands in the studio. TROUBLE VALLI PRODUCTIONS thrived on making possible, major label quality, commercially viable recordings for independent level artists. As a multi-instrumentalist and a highly trained sequencer/arranger, Trouble was able to “fill in the blanks†for any client, any time, on any project, often writing and playing everything from guitar and bass lines, to sequenced drum parts and string arrangements. Between 2006 and early 2008 alone, Trouble has produced, engineered, played on, and co-written an amazing 10 records for bands such as L.A. Calling, Blacklist Union, Tuesday’s Rain, The Brat, Smells Like, and Trouble Valli.
After signing with Morey Management Group’s Jim Morey (Michael Jackson, Macy Grey, Kenny Chesney) and Kay Douglas, Trouble set out to develop his own project, titled “TROUBLE VALLIâ€. In the years following CRAZY TOWN, Trouble wrote, performed and demoed over a hundred songs in an effort to find his singles and to cultivate his sound. Described as edgy, modern, story rock, Trouble found motivation in the strong buzz and positive feedback surrounding his songs.
With a self-produced 6 song EP due out in the summer of 2008, Trouble focuses his marketing campaign on film/television placement, internet radio and promotion, and international distribution. Determined to be a true solo artist and to persue a truly independant business model for his solo project, Trouble Valli thrives on the “blue collar†mentality that has defined his carreer as a guitar player, a singer/songwriter, and a producer/engineer. Trouble continues to play guitar on many records and has recently been seen on tour with bands like Justin Lanning and LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT.
