I have a wonderful family and the greatest friends that I could of hoped for. Although in my life I have been through some challenges I would like to think that I have grown and learned from each individual experience and that has made me a better person.
I love being a mom. I have a 6 year old son who is my world. Everything I do is for him. Everything I've accomplished this far is because of him... He is the reason why I cant give up... Why I wont settle for less... and why failure is not an option. Life is hard as fuck but its worth it.
Being a single parent is a huge and hard job in its self but seeing your child grow,learn,smile and say I love you are reward enough.
I'm pretty laid back, honest, friendly, faithful and dedicated. I have been told that I'm a bit naive - I like to think that is because I try to concentrate on the good in people but usually that ends up coming back to bite me. I have learned to concentrate on the things I can control and let go of the thing I can't: Stop questioning why people do the things they do. I have some bad qualities like everyone does: I'm a bit stubborn at times. When it comes to talking about feelings I'm not a good sharer, I keep most of it in. I'm so good at loving but not so good at letting myself be loved.
My perspective on men: I would rather wait for my prince charming then settle - I think people now a days just live for the dream wedding and forget about the marriage that follows. I want the real deal = someone who can give and accept the "little things" - someone who agrees with alone time (I want to keep my own identity), someone who can trust me and I can trust them, someone who can go out or stay in and be happy either way. If this person ends up being able to cook me up some Italian dishes than that would be an added bonus - a guy who can cook is such a turn on.
Great Message to live by: As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
