About Me
The Brian Whitman Podcast Show debuts on WED - keep checking BrianWhitman.com TODAY for all the info. I can't wait to do this exciting show! For the last three years I have had the pleasure to work wit my buddy, Tim Conway, Jr., on "The Conway and Whitman Show" nightly from 8p - 11pm Monday thru Friday. I exited the show to take care of some personal issues in March but look forward to returning to the air very soon here in LA. Our last ratings together were about the highest that the night show had had in a long time. I am also proud that we were voted The Most Listened To Night Show in Southern California by the readers of LARAdio.comIn fact, I was a guest last week on Stephanie Miller's Show on Progressive Talk 1150 in L.A. I have been a guest on Steph's show twice recently. We met when I was 18 and did impressions and comedy bits on her NY morning show with Howard Hoffman. I'm 36 now so (and this is weird) I've been doing this more than half of my life!!I am thankful to Adam Carolla who does a tremendous morning show on 97.1 here in LA which is heard across the country. I have been flattered to appear on his show since leaving the night show at KLSX doing a number of impressions and characters including, Regis Philbin, Larry King, morning DJ "Shotgun Bob" and others.I thank you for the consistent e-mails and messages about my future. For the first time in my broadcasting career (I started at 13 years old in NYC) I actually do not know for sure what I am going to do next. That is an exciting feeling. I can tell you that I definitely miss being on the air. I have done it since my teenage years and always knew that it was, as I would say, "my life." After not doing it on a daily basis I really have come to realize just how much it means to me.Random Stuff: I "voice-match" actor Peter Stormare in the opening scene of cult fave "2001 Maniacs" starring Robert Englund. My George W. Bush voice has appeared on "Mind of Mencia" on Comedy Central and on "Complete Strangers" on ABC-TV. I have done a few episodes of MTV's Celebrity DeathMatch and a bunch of voicovers and one coveted on-camera Pepsi commercial shot when I was 16! I was also featured on Rick Dees' late night TV show as well as Stephanie Miller's. I have done The Dennis Miller Show a couple of times, was a regular on Glenn Beck's CNN Show, Hannity and Colmes as well as random guests shots on other CNN programs.I am also mentioned by name in Glenn Beck's "An Inconvenient Book" and indirectly in Regis Philbin's "I'm Only One Man!"MORE NEWS ON THE WAY - KEEP CHECKING IN, GUYS! THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESSS!There are a few people from the business who have been especially kind to me this year. They have been helpful, supportive and great friends. Among them are my former colleagues at KABC, Doug McIntyre and Marc "Mr. KABC" Germain, my buddy Tim Conway, Jr., the management of KLSX Radio including Bob Moore, Jack Silver and new CBS LA honcho and my old boss of 15 years at KIIS FM Roy Laughlin, the man who started my radio career (I call him my "Radio Dad") Scott Shannon, Stephanie Miller, my agent Eric Weiss, Sam Phillips, true friends Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, the legendary Rick Dees and my old boss at WABC Radio in NY and current President of the Talk Radio Network, my friend and confidante Phil Boyce.I do have other cherished friends from outside the business and they know just who they are!
