The best movies I've seen recently are The Departed, Match Point, and Munich. I lerv Fight Club. I also really love Lost in Translation, Mystic River, Bottle Rocket, The Good Girl, Love Actually (say what you will), the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Insider, and pretty much anything Clint Eastwood directed. As far as comedies go, some of my old favorites include Groundhog Day, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Young Frankstein, Life of Brian, and Office Space.
"Paradise Lost" and "Paradise Lost 2: Revelations." Go rent them. Now!!!
Television:
I watch too much tv -- these days it's First 48, Big Love, Sopranos, Daily Show, and Top Design.
Books:
Jack Kerouac and the Beat Boys, anything Chuck Palahniuk, and To Kill a Mockingbird. Right now though I'm reading a crap-load of archaeological theory.
