True Romance- Quentin Tarantino should be the gold standard regarding the making of the perfect character driven film: from the stellar (unknown at the time)supporting cast including the likes of- James Gandolfini, Dennis Hopper, Samuel L Jackson, Christopher Walken, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Chris Penn, Sizemore, Rapaport, Pinchot, to the tempo, theme, story, dialogue, nonstop action- a must leisurely watch then a must analyze to truly (pun intended) appreciate.
