I was born near Hollywood, Ca in the late 1960's and I grew up on rock and roll, metal, blues, country, bluegrass, and many more musical styles. Joined my first rock band on lead guitar in 1977 at age 10. Played in various heavy metal bands in Los Angeles and Hollywood area performing in a lot of clubs including the Whiskey A Go Go, Troubador, Gazzarri's, Country Club. Have resided in Seattle since 1995 and been in local bands including Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band Whiskey Creek, Allman Brothers tribute band One Way Out and my original band HooHead John. Currently working on new original music and jamming with various musicians. Married to my beautiful wife and soulmate Bridgett since 2001 and I have three step-daughters, one step-son and four grandkids. I love to play music, especially loud, and I don't plan on ever stopping no matter what my age is.
