About Me

Hi, my name is Dale, I'm 34, bald, happily married, and the theatre is my passion. To not act is to not breathe as far as I'm concerned. I love to read, tell sea-stories, make my wife blush, and hiking (when my knees can handle it). One of my goals, besides getting paid more than a gas stipend for my art, is to someday get a look at this 'social filter' everyone keeps telling me about. I live and work in Seattle but I consider The Lewiston Civic Theatre my home. I have the starving part of "Starving Actor" down pat, but I am married to the most supportive woman I could have ever hoped for. She makes every minute of my life laugh-filled and adventurous (except on the occasions when I'm trying to quit smoking ~ then she just hides). I also (on occasion) moderate a MySpace group for the Lewiston Civic Theatre, you should check it out.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other actors and performers who are passionate about their art, but still remember that in the end we're still entertainers. Nothing more ironic than an actor who plays pretend for a living, yet thinks he/she is god. Umm, have you saved somebody's life? Pulled someone from a burning building? Sacrificed your own freedom so that someone else could have theirs? Uh-uh, shut your hole.
