About Me

Layout by CoolChaserhello my name i Robert Broughton also known as the WHITE TIGER i live with my mother an father who i love very much an are the reason i fight for an would give my life for i also have a Best friend named Dan Lee an our goal an dream is to become taekwondo Olympic champions, help those who are less fourtionate then us and be the best. i currently live in Naples, Fl and this is my story: the fight. It's been a part of my life far as I can remember. Without it, I would have nothing. I had no Discipline no direction. I was lost until i started martial arts at the age of 14 i started with Karate an got my black belt then at the age of 16 at Elite martial arts dojo i practiced judo, muay thai under the instruction of sensei Will and some self thought jeet kune do sensei will tough me to be honorable to be loyal an show respect. after that at i turned 17 an joined an ITA TAEKWONDO organization called taekwon do plus instructed by MT. Frost and finished with a red belt an as i got more interested in TAEKWONDO i decided to switch to a different organization called EAGLE MARTIAL ARTS a WTF or World Taekwondo Federation under the teachings of MASTER DEMAREST. (sabomnim) MASTER DEMAREST took me in to his (kwon)or dojo in the way of the Olympic & Traditional Style TAEKWONDO. Through my dedication of training and meditation he taught me the 5 Tenets that a TAEKWONDO ARTIST should live by: COURTESY, INTEGRITY, PERSEVERANCE, SELF-CONTROL and INDOMITABLE SPIRIT that i live by to this day. and Through fighting he gave me purpose. Our arts taught me to constantly strive to better myself as a taekwondo artist and as a person. With every punch and kick I throw,I learned these lessons. Nothing gives me greater joy than practicing a new (Poomse)Fourm or learning a new technique that draws me closer to my ultimate aspiration. To become a taekwondo master and a honorable taekwondo warrior but ultimatly to be the BEST worthy of Master Demarest. I relished that testing myself against the best fighters from all disciplines and all countries--In everything from large tournaments to small street fights. It is not the battle themselves that thrills me,it is what I learned from each one. Analyzing the performance of both my opponent and myself,I improve my own skill with every success or failure As long as their is that supreme goal to strive for... As long as their is techniques yet still to master... I feel everything I am doing is fulfilling a higher purpose. As long as I've been able to fight, my life has had direction. But that is not all that martial arts and fighting gave to me...It also gave me family.
