Taekwon-Do , Middle Welsh and anything related to Welsh language and culture, J.R.R. Tolkien and his work beyond Lord of the Rings, and tattoos.
hmmm... I guess I still have to think about it, currently my mind's a bit slow and I can't come up with anything else :-/
I have to add that I have recently discovered an affinity to etymological sock puppets (see in my photos). It all started with a running gag in our Middle Welsh reading group but then it developed into something real... really weird or even better "rhywbeth rhyfedd ac anesboniadwy".
I'd like to meet:
... more Welsh speaking people ;-)
Brandon Lee, if it were possible... :-(

my list will be updated from time to time
Movies:
Donnie Darko (one of the most stunning movies I've ever seen, extremly surprising outcome at the end)
LOTR ( FOTR , TT and ROTK ) (really a great work of Peter Jackson and all the people involved - a master piece)
The Crow (The first one with Brandon Lee - thrilling and yummie)
Kill Bill vol 1 , vol 2. (I love Asian style fighting movies and a katana sword fight is soooo styly)
Dracula - Dead and loving it (I love the scene when he rises from his coffin and bangs his head against the pillar...*lol*)
Pirates of the Caribbean (somehow I've got a faible for pirates...)
King Arthur (alright, there were some historical inaccuracies etc. but I liked this totally different approach of the myth and the soundtrack of Hans Zimmer)
Werner - beinhart (great German comic comedy - best part: the football game on the market place *wipes tears of laughter away* I nearly died when I watched it for the first time)
Monty Python - just anything of them, good humor to my taste
The Gathering (kind of horror film with a very interesting plot and a surprising development at the end, you actually need to watch it twice to get it)
Sleepy Hollow (freaky, creepy and funny - not to forget Johnny Depp ;-)
and last but not least: Live Freaky Die Freaky (Warning: if you are offended by explicit puppet sex and bad language, don't watch it *lol* absolutely insane movie but behind it brilliant criticism of modern society)
Television:
I don't have a telly, but back in the 90s, when I lived in Germany, I loved VIVA2 and German comedians like Michael Mittermaier and Otto.
Nowadays I sometimes watch Conan O'Brien when I'm with friends - crazy guy but he's already a classic! It was great when he came to Finland and shot a "documentary" about it. Definitely a worthy contribtion to general education - how many didn't know before where Finland was situated and that Nokia wasn't a Japanese enterprise? *lol*
Books:
LOTR and other books of J.R.R. Tolkien, Harri Potter a Maen yr Athronydd (HP and the Philosopher's Stone in Welsh), Pedair Cainc y Mabinogi (but only in the original language - the translation failed to preserve the congeniality of the ancient verb-free language ;-)
