Brian Platt

Premade LayoutsIn 2000, Brian Platt began performing as a solo acoustic artist while attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He started out playing parties, open mics, and eventually performed in the Mr. IUP contest alongside Eric Gerber for nearly 1,000 people. Brian spent the summers of 2004 and 2005 in Cape May New Jersey where he was able to entertaining tourists at the beach in exchange for pocket change. In 2004, with the help of Steven Swinehart and Bassist Michael CoCo Butter Biscuits, Brian began playing open mics and shows in the Harrisburg area. A few of the venue's he's played include KClinger's, the Midtown Tavern, Appalachian Brewing Company, Champions and the Gingerbread Man. Brian Platt has had the privilege to open for local acts BRAD WARD, HOLIS, and KINGSFOIL.
