Is this supposed to be a list or a description? I don't know . . . what do you put for something this vague. I'm interested in a lot of things . . . like how that homeless guy on the corner can afford a $400 North Face Jacket? Would I really make more than I do now selling "Street Wise?" The answer, sadly, is probably yes. I knit. I'm interested in why people allow their children to play in fountains when they are little more than open baths for pigeons and vagrants . . . and probably the occasional rat. I read. Why do people with the most money get the most perks? I like to watch movies, but my husband sadly does not . . . leaving me with little knowledge of the modern cinema. Why has it become not voting for someone but against someone else? I love food. I'm also interested in why good things happen to bad people, and vice versa. The world. . . I guess the whole wide world and all the little creepy crawly things on it . . . those are my interests. Too vague? Oh, and I really like the dot . . . dot. . . dot thingy. Does that have a name?
Drop me a line, and I'll decide if we should continue the charade.
Another one of these, huh? I just like so many kinds of music . . . it's hard to make a list. Sometimes I like one song by someone, but not anything else they've done . . . and of course there are the musicians that can do no wrong. I guess that's what you're asking for, you wacky crazy myspace user you. I can't do it. I just can't do it. I don't need you judging me for what music I may or may not listen to. Let's put it this way. . . I lean towards people with guitars who write their own music, but there are exceptions to every rule. Am I making you crazy with my lack of information?
Okay, I'll give you this one. I'm so movie hungry, it's nice to dream about some of my favorites. Amelie, anything Pixar, When Harry Met Sally, Pracilla Queen of the Desert, Frieda, anything Nick Park, anything Hitchcock, I'll try and think of more. . .
Simpsons, Sex and the City, Will and Grace, Law and Order (but not that CI . . . the other ones), all the crime shows on A&E and Court TV, Unwrapped, Good Eats
My favorite books lately have consisted of those most fresh in my mind . . . but I'll whip out some oldie but goodies. Harry Potter (dork? yes . . . but at least I'm proud of it,) A Prayer for Owen Meany, Poisonwood Bible, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Devil in the White City, so far anything by Christopher Rice (although I'm not a huge fan of his mother, his writing is really good and really different. . . I guess maybe it's the cross of Anne and his father who is a poet,) Christopher Moore. . . love him, read him, go . . . now. Fall on Your Knees. I'll try and think of more. I've read more YA Books in the past 3 months than I have in the past 4 years, so that's been fun. I'm now in the throws of all things kid lit. There isn't much I like more than recommending a good book. *sigh*
How can you write about your heroes without sounding like a total sap? You are the wind beneath my wings.
