So, I am a LOT of fun to be around...and I've no idea why, really...you'll have to ask my friends on that one. I love to learn...I love to travel and I love my friends...though, since I've moved from them, I haven't seen them NEARLY as much as I'd like to. I'm not much of a party girl anymore, either. Though an occassional binge is always fun! Sometimes I want to kick myself cuz I can FEEL myself "growing-up" and I CAN'T STOP IT! :) I am actually looking forward to placid days with no drama and simple smiles. hmmm.
I'd like to meet:
For the longest time i had on here "I'm not looking for love. Just people to bullshit with." But "honestly" - things have changed now!! :) I am actually LOOKING FORWARD to being in love again...so we'll see how this goes! :) I'm a pretty straight-forward person...I don't embrace bullshitting or little girl games all too well - if you're not strong enough to say something outloud and forthright...don't bother. All in all, I'd really prefer people just present themselves as they are rather than try to sell themselves with witty talk or sexual innuendoes (MUAH???). Don't get me wrong, here, I love flattery and wit...but I can't imagine friendships or relationships built on first-encounter superficialities. So...if you're real, imperfect (and realize it) and stunningly gorgeous...we'll have to chat some time :)

So I've finally updated my music section because I was reading it earlier and realized that it sounds like I ACTUALLY listen to music! When, in reality - I don't. The only time you'll find me listening to music is when I'm driving. On stressful days or days when I just feel like kicking ass...I listen to punk...The Clash mainly, Green Day, or classic rock...Zeppelin. period. :) But on cleaning days...I listen to tranquil harp music...cuz it reminds me of my mom...sigh. Also a big fan of Raqe Against the Machine, Good Riddance, Save Ferris, Steve Miller, Lloyd Cole, Social Distortion, Feist, The Strokes, Amos Lee, Cat Stevens, Suicide Machines, Wilco, Hole, James Blunt, Leonard Cohen, The 6ths, Violent Femmes, '80s music here & there, Jack Johnson and maybe a few more...I dunno.
Movies:
Here are some of the movies I think are worth watching (In no particular order as I have a really bad memory...they just come to me sporadically): Good Will Hunting - probably my all time fav. I LOVE Iron Man. Wall-E. Pleasantville, Closer, The Godfather I and II, not a big fan of III, Igby Goes Down, Life as a House, Walk the Line, A Beautiful Mind, Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Aviator, Swingers, Transformers, Great Expectations, A River Runs Through It, Waiting, Employee of the Month, My Best Friend's Girl (see a pattern here? :) Proof, and, yes, even sappy ones like "Tristan & Isolde" and oldies like Dirty Dancing :) and I'll have to add more as my memory prevails....
Television:
Buffy and Angel. Enough said.
Though I do also like that show "House"...love smart cocky guys like that! :) and I'm TRYING to get into "HEROES" but I keep forgetting to watch it!!
Books:
Jack Kerouac. Ken Kesey. Anne Rice. JD Salinger.
Heroes:
Good Friends. Some have gone, more will come and others I couldn't get rid of if I tried...but the good ones are always held in high regard. ............................................................ .........................Heroes are those that go beyond the norm to do something extraordinarily selfless and profound, forever impressing on the hearts of others what it means to take risks and stand out for the sake of making someone else's life just a little bit easier
