About Me

My Morning Commute
(How I go to work each morning; yes--Winter, too)
...And how I will spend my remaining days
(BTW--I rode those same desert roads when I was stationed in Alamogordo, NM)

MY LIFE, SUMMARIZED IN 3 EVENTS:

    Now in painstaking detail...
    * COMPUTING:
    Dad got me on my first keyboard when I was five. I love online gaming and software engineeiring (Perl/CGI, HTML, Java, C++, MS VBA, assembly, etc.). If you really wanna turn me on, talk to me about cyberforensics, parallel/distributed programming, multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, war-driving, phishing, wireless, error troubleshooting, and good ol' fashioned network security...
    "THE GEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH"
    * IRON HORSEBACK RIDING:
    You know--the kind with a Harley engine block--not a water bottle--between your legs... wearing leather...not spandex. It's my "iron horse of the apocalypse" and it's a part of me. My mount is a 2006 Harley-Davidson Air Force Fatboy Softail (see profile pics). The best riding I've ever had is in the mountains and sands of south New Mexico.
    The truest meaning of "world peace": laying on your bike, watching a sunset from the beach while feeding the ducks
    To me, ALL bikers are like military members: If you're one of them, then the rest are friends you haven't met yet. Guess I'll be spending the rest of my life "behind bars," so-to-speak.
    The Indians call me "Dances with Bikers"!
    "THE FREEWAY IS MY SONG"
    -Great White
    * STREET RUNNING: Get off that treadmill and into the great outdoors. It's more fulfilling and scenic to say you've run in the hundred degree heat of Del Rio, TX, the beaches of Bilxoi, MS, the mountains of Mountain Home (Idaho), the freezing blizzards of Chicago's "Lake Shore Drive", Osan, South Korea, Incirlik, Turkey, bla bla bla...
    Click here to see me running
    * CONSERVATISM AND WOMEN: I'm not an anti-smoking nazi and won't push my views on you. What I'm saying is I have "80s values"...you know--back when people weren't so uptight. I don't "jive" and talk the "street language" of today. Women are not "bitches" and men are not "dawgs." Yea...word to that, or somethin. I value:* B-I-G hair (I'm talkin 80s-bands, Dolly Parton-sized hair ... not black, butch cuts) ** I LOVE HUGE rooster tails
    * Blue eyeshadow ("Heather Locklear in the movie 'Runaway'")
    * Tight blue jeans, with the rips in the kneecaps...white threads hangin' out ... white T-shirt tucked in
    * Southern accents (I find people in the south more friendly)
    * Sexy IS NOT 100% naked, or involves chains, handcuffs, leather, tattoos, or other not-included accessories. Sexy IS tall women with long hair, blue eyeshadow, hot pink lipstick, and some outfit that's a combination of tight blue jeans and something pink (think 80s!...like the first couple "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies). Cowgirl hat and accent a plus.

* HARD WORK:
    * I value physically intensive work vs. sitting on my can, watching TV, all day
    * I'm a clean freak (i.e., don't let a single dish pile up in the sink)
    * Yard work = fun
    * Cleaning/organizing house = fun

* SPORTS: I don't know how some guys can talk about it all day and know the stats for every individual player in the whole world. I keep mine simple--"go home team...yay." I have more important things to do...like setting off people's car alarms with my motorcycle pipes.
* PETS: I get along with all animals and have even rode a few horses (both real and mechanical), but I'm going to have to go with hamsters --final answer. Love those cute little guys. They're just harmless, loveable little fuzzballs that squeak.
* GONE COUNTRY: (Thanks, Alan.) Waltz, cha-cha, 2-step, line dance... It's just something about doing things in sync with others that's just plain fun. Line dancing is the best part--not just your typical electric slide ... I'm talkin the tush pushin', slappin' leather (best line dance), Tennessee Express, Funky Cowboy, 10-Step, Applejack kinda stuff. C) :-D
BEST COUNTRY MUSIC
(Ordered from "Best" to "Almost Best")
HONORABLE MENTIONS Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullaby (best heartbreak song) Confederate Railroad - I hate rap (just because of the song title) C.W. McCall - Convoy (great story) David Alan Coe - You never even called me by my name (best sing-a-long not requiring a karaoke machine)
* LINE DANCIN': My job has taken me all over the world and through the southern belt and I've learned a few important things along the way--like what line dances are best. PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE ANY PLACES I NEED TO ADD. I might end up nearby some day and need to use my time wisely. :-)
