Of Eastern European extraction, I came to the western shores of North America as an infant refugee. I've learned to love and adore the many freedoms of this land - and am not shy about expressing them! I walk no real path and I follow no particular set of rules. I've always had a deep and vibrant love for life. I follow my soul where it bids me, even if it seems mad and takes me to uncharted territory.

I love doing new things, and constantly challenging myself. The unknown is a terrifying thing, and fear forever nips at my heels, but that only assures me that I am alive and well. I love to experiment, explore, and test myself. Life is about perspective, and in order to get a good perspective one needs to peek in all the nook and crannies.

I have a terrible addiction to all things that evoke pleasurable sensation. Sex, art, music, women, men, food, water, warmth, sun, wind...everything.

I love food. I love eating. I love taste, and smell and texture! Thank GOD, I am an untalented cook - otherwise I would be frightfully large... My greatest food addictions: sushi and pizza (but not sushi pizza!). I'll eat almost anything and love it: Japanese, Thai, French, Italian, Pub Grub, you name it! And I'm always up to trying new food... as long as it doesn't come from some obscene part of the animal - bull testicles do not make my long list of likes...

I adore people. Well... as long as they are kind and open minded. I love reading their favorite books, watching their favorite movies, going to their favorite restaurants, listening to their music. Getting to know someone is like exploring a new universe - and I really believe that within each intelligent human mind there lies a universe all its own. I can listen to my friends talk all day, or just indulge in the warmth of their company in silence while we each do our own things. Without companionship I would shrivel and die.

Though I adore people, I have a strong preference for intimacy. I have a small group of friends I treasure as much as my own life. I also enjoy my moments alone, so I can sort out all the whirling thoughts that constantly go on in my head, and make it impossible for me to concentrate on any one thing. This is when I go hiking, or to a park, or anywhere green lol. I love nature, and feel this is also an intimate connection, something I prefer to immerse myself in alone or with the company of someone sacred to me. Or at least someone who understands (or seeks to understand) that whisper of the wind as it caresses your body and swirls between shuddering leaves can be a sacred temple. I think that is where we truly find God.
