___“In three words I can sum up what I’ve learned about life: It goes on” Robert Frost. I love to venture such as traveling and exploring new places. One of my goals is to travel to many countries before I die. I have been to places in Japan and in Europe. I also have been to the Philippines, Mexico, and Canada. The Air Force has made me fortunate in allowing me to live on Okinawa for a few years. People, culture, and how societies function greatly intrigue me and that is one of the reasons why I try to keep an open mind about people. It is not the action of what a person did, but the INTENT behind his or her action. Also, I love food and savor the many different types which include anything, but American fast foods. My favorite is a glass of sweet wine combined with a piece of chocolate. Family and close friends are whom I cherish most, and I love them. I enjoy being around the comfort of people whom I am close to versus having masses of acquaintances or countless group of friends with whom I have no rapport or significant bond, however, my heart is always open to new people who always manage to surprise me in a positive way. The gym is my safe haven and where I blow off steam. ============================================================ ======================================== I have received questions in regards to who my photographer was in these black & white photos of myself. She is a very good friend of mine whom I met on Okinawa, Japan when I was stationed there. She is absolutely creative and delightful to work with and has the ability to put me at ease since I am typically a shy person when it comes to being photographed. Despite all the apprehension I've felt, I was amazed by the quality results of my photos and the art they exude without being demeaning. The photos captured my emotion on my last weekend here on Okinawa.
