About Me

Well, what is there to say really...? I am geektastic!

My Interests

Movies, photography, books, TV, museums, Disneyland, hanging out with friends, visiting new places, politics, outer space, singing...

I'd like to meet:

Old friends, strangers...

Music:

I enjoy all sorts of music and love making mixed CDs for the car. My favorite band is They Might Be Giants and I'm a big fan of the Goo Goo Dolls and Tonic. I'm ashamed to say that I really love cheesy 90s pop, although I won't always admit to this. I own tons of movie soundtracks because I like the mix of music. Classical and movie scores are favorites for morning drives and quiet evenings at home.

Movies:

Ah movies, my one true passion. I even worked in Hollywood for 3 months although I discovered that watching movies is more fun than making them. Some of my all-time favorites are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Say Anything, Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Forrest Gump, Shrek, Pride and Prejudice and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That having been said, I own hundreds of DVDs and watch many of them on a regular basis. =)

Television:

I really do watch too much TV, but there's so much fantastic stuff on the air. My favorite shows right now are the Office, 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Robot Chicken, Heroes and Lost. I can appreciate the procedural dramas, but I don't really watch them. I might be the only person on the planet that doesn't watch CSI. My favorite series from the past are Babylon 5, Freaks and Geeks, Firefly, Sports Night, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Sex and the City and Friends.

Books:

I have an entire bookshelf full of books that I need to read. When I have the time and energy, I read about one per week. I like many genres, but I really love fantasy/sci-fi novels, especially Anne McCaffrey and the entire Dune series. I can get into some main-stream fiction, but I tend not too buy too many of these.

Heroes:

Peter and Nathan Petrelli. =)

My Blog

Blogs are lame...

Nobody cares what I have to say in person, why should they listen to me online. Hee hee...
