What I'm interested in... auto mechanics, guns, fishing, woodworking, intelligent conversation, religion, politics, karaoke, dancing, forensics, jigsaw puzzles, reading. But not necessarily in that order.
As far as public figures are concerned, I'd like to meet Edna St. Vincent Millay. She was a poet. I'd like to meet the writer of Sun Tzu: The Art of War. I'd like to meet Mr. Right before I'm forty.
You Are 80% Boyish and 20% Girlish
You have a tough exterior - and usually a tough interior to match it.
You're no nonsense, logical, and very assertive.
Sometimes you can't understand women at all, even if you're a woman yourself.
You see things rationally, and don't like to let your emotions get the best of you.
How Boyish or Girlish Are You?
It has to be old. Jazz, country. Back when people sang, not screamed. Back when lyrics were intelligent. Back when orchestras created music; not four guys plugged into an electrical outlet. Vibratos and violins seem to be things of the past. Some of my favorites: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Ray Charles, Hank Williams, Sr., Lefty Frizzell, Bob Wills, George Gershwin, The Judds, Michael Feinstein, Rockapella, Dolly Parton, Billy Joel, Buddy Holly, Charlie Robison, Etta James, Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons, Frederick Chopin, Gram Parson, Johnny Cash, Josh Turner, and Norah Jones.
I admit I like the sappy girlie movies. I also love Clint Eastwood. I watch a lot of movies, but don't have any particular favorites.
The only things I really watch are CSI and whatever is on The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, or Court TV.
I read trashy historical romance novels. Deal with it. I also like Rhoal Dahl.
My parents are my heroes, although I didn't realize it until I became an adult.
