About Me

I write. Sometimes I act, sometimes I direct. Mostly I write. I write many things, some of which are in my blog. You will like those because they're funny. Or you may not like them because they're too liberal. Mostly they're short. But I also write longer things like novels, and things of medium length like short stories and plays. I've written plays that are on the longish side (about 120 pages) and some that are short (around 10 pages) but still not quite as short as some of the things on my blog. I've also written plays that are "long one-acts" and are thus half-way between a short play and a long play, but still not as long as my novels, of which I have written only one. Here's a list of what I have written:

FANTOMAS IN AMERICA - historical thriller about the French master criminal Fantomas, published by Black Coat Press. Look for it on Amazon.com. Type the title into the search box and click on "search." That will bring up every book with the title FANTOMAS IN AMERICA. Mine is the only one.

URBAN CENTRAL - I just completed this play for the State Street Project at Passage Theatre in Trenton, NJ. I'm also the Associate Artistic Director of Passage Theatre, which is how I was able to convince them to produce my play. It's based on the real life race riots that took place at an inner-city high school during the 1967-68 school year. I've also written two other plays for the State Street Project entitled IF I COULD, IN MY HOOD, I WOULD... and FIRE GIRLS. More information on these projects can be found at www.myspace.com/statestreetproject or at www.passagetheatre.org

RANDOM HORRIBLE THOUGHTS ABOUT LOVE - Unlike the previous plays, this one is for adults and is kind of R-rated. Not R-rated like SAW, more like R-rated like CARNAL KNOWLEDGE. It's a collection of one-acts that was workshopped at Passage Theatre.

I also run the STAGE ONE WRITER'S UNIT at, you guessed it, Passage Theatre.

I occasionally write about horror movies as well. I've had pieces published in VideoWatchdog, www.videowatchdog.com, and HORROR 101

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Do I have to meet anyone? I'm really tired today and my hair is not cooperating. I'd really like like to lose a little weight before I meet anyone important. I'd like to meet some non-important people today. People with worse hair than me. ..
