No longer I, but Christ -Gal. 2:20

About Me

I'm a happy-go-lucky kid. I don't know what God did to me when He created me but there's something wrong with the wirings of my brain. I seem to be a ten-year-old trapped in an "adult" body. If there's such a thing as shallow tears, then I possess shallow laughter. I laugh way too easily, I gallavant and dance (in an uncoordinated fashion) without caring whether anyone's watching, and possess the voice (volume-wise) of a megaphone (and have a hard time controlling it especially when inside a small room). If you think I'm borderline retarded, I honestly don't blame you.I currently work in an advertising agency as a copywriter, although for a little over a year of working here, I was an art director. I love my job (it's what I've always been made to do, I suppose), the people with whom I work, and everything else that comes along with working in the advertising industry. I like cracking taglines and manipulating words to get the commercial's message across. I enjoy the satisfaction of mounting my finished work, I relish the pride my co-workers and I feel when we've done a good job, I like conceptualizing and crafting, and, heck, I also find narcissistic pleasure in the hate-hate relationship my not-in-mint-condition iMac and I have.I enjoy reading and writing (though I find that I'm still lacking in this department). I equally enjoy reading, writing, and speaking the Spanish language, though I have yet to visit Spain. I enjoy taking pictures with my digital camera though most of the time, I'm the subject of my pictures (ergo, I can be VAIN). I enjoy foreign films and have managed to coerce my father into buying such films, though I've hardly seen any of his latest buys. I love eating chips with dip (sometimes a bag a day, depending on my mood), though some of my officemates are starting to go vegan on me. Well, if I die prematurely as a result of my incessant intake of junkfood, at least I'll die happily. Haha! I love swimming laps, though sometimes more for the tanning benefits than health benefits. I enjoy most things Comm-related (PR, advertising, production work, events), though these are the very same things that will induce my hyperacidity and will decrease the amounts of melanin on my hair, thus causing it to turn white faster.I am a Christian. I love the Lord. I love ministry work. I love the friends I've made in church whom I fondly refer to as my brothers and sisters in Christ.Ultimately, it is His love that keeps me going EVERYDAY!

My Interests

Learning languages (Spain or bust, after which, I plan to conquer French and Italian), traveling (in my dreams), dogs, sketching, writing, reading, blogging, swimming laps, ministry/ies, Jesus, DVDs, becoming fixated on technology, shopping, getting out of the house once in a while, sleeping in.

I'd like to meet:

Only those whom I really KNOW or are AFFILIATED IN SOME WAY with people whom I do know (i.e. I'm currently acquainted with them somehow). In other words, only if I know you 'coz I don't usually add people who randomly click on me.Ü Don't know you, don't add you. Thanks.
