About Me

I am a really happy individual, pretty crazy but for some reason I really would rather not show my emotions...maybe I am insecure...or more likely I would at some level rather talk about you...because maybe I have it all together...Doubtful, but I do know that the Lord through me, taking care of my loose ends and weaknesses makes me perfect through his Love and Grace...Maybe I am too Sarcastic...or maybe I have a problem with closure...You know sometimes it seems

My Interests

Spending time with my wife...I love the times that we have together, laying in bed eating ice cream and pumpkin pie, or pushing the coaches together to form some sort of a bed as we fall asleep watching a VCD on our DVD player that was given to me by one of my students...It is sad that these times do not happen more often as I am a workiholic and she is a perfetionist. I pretty much love finding the new great places to sit down with a nice cup of coffee, reading and journaling...also I wish there was more time for that as well. Pretty much, anything that is cool, I am interested in.

I'd like to meet:

Patrick Ewing because the last time i met him I was like 12 and he was really rude to my brother and I in the Portland airport. i would like to meet him again to not have such a sour taste in my mouth.

Music:

You give it to me..I'll like it. I range from Church Hymns to Ben Harper to Blink to Brand New. Well honestly I just love it all. Currently I am listening to the piano playing of some artist and I have almost never been more free.

Movies:

Garden State...With Honors...Glory...Little Mermaid...Fight Club...American History X...Life of David Gayle...Tommy Boy...Rudy...I Not Stupid...Emperors New Groove...Big Fish...Boyz N the Hood...Chocolate...Man on Fire...Remember the Titans...man I like a lot of movies, most recently I was not a huge fan of Denzel's new one, which is surprising because I usually love his movies. That would in part be because Mark Porterfield loved his movies. I think if I watched I Heart Huckebees again I would like it. Butter fly Effect was freaky...it seemed so logical to me, and that scared me more than that one scene with the two boys and a bicycle I believe. Anywho, sometimes I buy movies just to buy them... they sit on my shelf and I never watch them...oh Yeah CRASH was just given to me, pretty interesting one that if I was working at a University I would show in a Sociology class...(all of these movies I would recommend but would deny recommending them if you told someone I recommended them.)

Television:

Its funny really, I have never really watched anything religiously except sports...then my wife started watching this America's Next Top Model thing and I got hooked...We wont get ESPN as it is to expensive here but I do love the English Premier Soccer Matches that they put on the tube.

Books:

C.S. Lewis; and pretty much anything he has written. poetry...I write poetry and love the way you can express yourself through it as well as learn through the expressions of others. Other books that I have on my shelf that I have not opened or finished yet include - The case for Democracy by Natan Sharansky - Thomas Friedman's The World is Flat - Lee Strobel's The Case for Faith (I think this belongs to Josh Kinney) - Wild at Heart ( this one Janee Mestrovich is holding on to for awhile) - If you want to walk on water you've got to get out of the boat (This on Jana Moseley is holding onto for awhile) - Love and Respect- a book given to Noelle and I from Verne and Natalie Ward

Heroes:

Many People...Ben Forrest, Verne Ward IV, Dan Rosenthal, Mickey Mouse, and the owner of this banner Preston Lewis
