Ms. Alexes Hargrove performed with a youth theater at New York University, an institution that would later play a part in her life. Later, she helped found the Sixty Third Dimension Theater Company. The company was functioned as an off Broadway theater company, who used guerrilla tactics to promote their shows. Later, she returned to NYU to complete a two-year program in film production. Ms. Hargrove moved on to the fashion photography industry acting as the assistant to the general manager of Industria Super Studios. Being on sets at Industria photo studio gave Ms. Hargrove the ambition and confidence to move on to working in music videos and movie sets. She was a P.A. on the set of the classic Jay Z video “A Hard Knock Life”. Later she worked on nationwide commercials for Ikea and MTV. Film credits include "Vanilla Sky" and "Hide and Seek". She worked administratively with "Uptown Girls", "Romance and Cigarettes. Recently, Ms. Hargrove performed as the Managing Editor of BLOW! Magazine. An innovative quarterly DVD and magazine hip hop culture compellation.
