I am a wife and mother of two beautiful babies.My husband, Jim Miller, was a quarterback in the NFL for 13 years, and now is a sportscaster and a radio personality for the NFL Network on Sirius Satallite Radio, Color commentator for MSU Football, and an analyst for Comcast Sportsnet in Chicago for the Bears Post Game show. .During our years in the league, I found that there was nothing TRULY SUPER FLY for kids and wives of Pro athelets to wear in support of their fathers'/husbands' teams. So I considered my own dilemma, and thought to myself, 'there's no reason to just wish and wait for a designer to create a line of hip and un-corny clothes to wear in support of my husband and his team, when I can make my own over-the-top, other-girl-envying, rhinestone-blinging apparel.' So, back in 1999, I began beautifying the clothing and shoes my daughter and I would wear to games (or anywhere else we went). One thing led to another, and eventually, I was embellishing anything and everything I could get my hands on: clothes, jerseys, shoes, belts, furniture, cake plates, candles, mirrors, picture frames, scrapbooks, pacifiers, pacifier clips, cellphones, hats, you name it. I was truly out of control. But the sparkle from all that Swarovski must have spotlighted my work, because other hipster kids and fashionista moms, tired of run-of-the-mill sports apparel worn by every Tom, Dick and Mary, followed the light - and my business was born (BELLA ARTISTRY).
