I've been involved in the Hung Sing Choy Lee Fut system of gung fu for over 25 years now. But, during this time, I've been a survivor of severe spinalcord injury which left me paralyzed from the waist down.However, Choy Lee Fut is my passion, so I did what it took and then some to be able to return to the Choy Lee Fut system.I am a senior disciple of Grand Master Dino Salvatera and the Hung Sing Kwoon. Today, I'm teaching the Yuen Hai lineage of Hung Sing Choy Lee Fut right in the heart of Golden Gate park only feet away from the Japanese Tea Garden.At my school I prefer to focus on the self defense/fighting aspect because most of my students wind up having to use it in real life combat at times. We approach our gung fu realistically and train accordingly. however, I am trying to keep our system straight up traditional, we do adhere to the MODERN call of todays world.I am accepting students interested in learning a traditional gung fu style that has been tried and tested for almost 200 years. I offer long distance training, and tailor made training plans for the person who doesn't have the luxury of time to train consistantly.
