This is a poem that is on Ashley's Memory Plaque at Cracker Barrell in Cookeville I Am FreeDon't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me I took His lead when I heard Him call I turned back and then left it all.I could not stay another day To purr, to love, to work, or play Events uncompleted must stay that way I'm found at peace at the close of the day. If my parting left a void Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a purr, a kiss Oh yes, these things I, too, will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow My life's been full, I savoured much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now, he set me free. -- author unknown to me -- Well, it has been almost a year since I came back home.I really miss Louisiana, but I was a offered a job with my old boss.I'll stay here and see how things go longer. I am getting ready for another grandchild in a few months..yes Nana again. Can't wait!!!!! I am working for Olive Garden and loving it.I like everyone that I work with, even tho I am almost the oldest one there.LOLI am still dating the same guy, Justin, since July. He does grow on you...LOL. I have enjoyed being back home with the family. But you always have a yearning for something else.....like something is missing. I have grown as a person the past year, coming to terms that I can be happy with just myself. Can't make the kids small again...they make me feel needed when NEEDED.
