About Me

WKS started in fall '02 to practise some songs just to have some fun. The line-up has always been the same: Hannes on Guitar and Vocals, Jui on Bass and Vocals and Hulle on Drums. After it became boring to play only for ourselves we had our first gig in our hometown Vlotho, near Bielefeld. In the following years we played severall concerts in together with Bands like Hausvabot, Antidote, KaSa, Molotow Soda, Doktor Frankenstein, KPX, Kopfkino, Abeizamt, Los Restos, Alice D and others (oh, how could we forget Aggrobent...). Our music changed over the five years and became faster, a bit more melodic and less boring...but in fall of 2007 we gave our farewell-show in Hillentrup and split up.

Influences: We're influenced by many bands from all over the world playing good Punkrock, Oi!-, street- and HC-punk....but that doesn't mean that we sound the same way (although that's very hard or impossible sometimes).We all love SKA-music very much and sometimes we try to put some off-beat in our songs...but we know that we're too lousy for that.Our lyrics are written in german (our English isn't the best, as you can see here, and some people might laugh about our school-english). Maybe we'll try to translate some of them and load them up.
Sounds Like: just read the "influences"...there are too many bands....
