YORCH VILLALOBOS is a producer, arranger and pianist from Baja California, Mexico, who is recognized for his fine, creative, sensitive and fresh work.He started studying classical piano at the age of five with the German teacher Gerard Betche, learning to read musical notes before word letters, and showing very rapidly his musical talent and sensitivity, as well as pianist skills. He continued his studies for 12 years while been very active on recitals and concerts in the Tijuana-San Diego area.Later on, he formed the group Jazz Son 3 unfolding his creativity and improvisation skills into jazz music, and gaining the respect of the musical community.As a producer, he's been working on a whole variety of genres of music, from mariachi to jazz, passing through pop, boleros, bossanova, as well as film scores and commercials, and getting to work with Mexican celebrities such as Manuela Torres, Marisela, Gualberto Castro and Marco Antonio Regil, As a producer he had drove and arranged projects for several artist such as Antonio De Carlo and the acclaimed singer and composer Clayton,.Actually, hes producing the album for Lunazul, a promising bossanova-jazz group, among other projects, as well as a masterpiece for Timoteo, El Charro Negro, a talented and mega sensitive Afro-American singer who, without a doubt, will be one of 2007s revelations.
