MANICATO

Born in 2004, Manicato is the part of a Musicians Collective known as 'The Pink Palace'. The Palace, located in San Fransiscos Mission District is a haven for Musicians, Dancers, and a shelter for bands that come through town while on tour. The word Manicato (A bold, valiant person of a good heart) is derived from the indigenous tribe of Puerto Rico known as the Tainos. Manicatos' socially conscious grooves will have you dancing Salsa, Cumbia, Timba, Rock, Reggae, Bomba, Plena, Hip-Hop, Funk and everything in between, this is a fresh new sound in one of the oldest of Languages, the Universal Language of Music.
