Festation - New Song Tin Tin

Band Bio Preview: Late 2004, a collision between a bassist and guitarist in a Muso forum hosted by Melband.com.au saw the foundation of what is Festation. These two musicians (Dom and Adam) started jamming and before long had formed a strong musical bond. Early 2005, drummer Phil was auditioned and his talent was instantly added to the forming band. Phills progressive style added a very technical edge to the string sections very thrashy feel. Since then various vocalist were trialed, yet none of them matched the intensity of Martin “bonesaw” Hanna. His vocal style is very unique, mixing old school thrash with absolute death and black metal extremities. Since Martin was added, Festation have been rehearsing more than regularly to form a strong solid set. Quite a few backyard parties and bar gigs resulted in the formation of a small yet increasing fanbase. After the fith member Andy and the set complete, Festation hit the stage playing most worthy venues in melbourne, and some unworthy venues in brunswick. The brief spree was followed by a draught in which the band underwent a reconstruction. Andy took up vocals with Martin and Adam's resignation and local hooligan Tom Lock was pulled in to play bass. The year is ending, and the Fest is back, with a new set of songs, a new sound and a new goal, WORLD INFESTATION!
