About Me

My name is Karla D. Tyson and I'm 19 years old! I just graduated from Luella High School! Class of 2006! The best to exist belongs to the class of '06! I was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Decatur, GA! I currently live in Henry County. My birthday is September 23rd. I dance all the time, so I have earned the title Dancing DIVA. I do ballet, jazz, tap, modern, african, hip hop, pointe, partnering, etc. I was also a captain on our school's dance team! I am a Christian, who attends New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA where Bishop Eddie L. Long is our pastor. I love and believe in the Lord and without Him, nothing is possible! I love sports! I enjoy watching ATL Braves, ATL Falcons, and the LA Lakers! I'll watch any game, but those teams are my absolute favorite! Many guys enjoy my company because I know a lot about sports and I can argue to make my point about anything!! I'm not exactly sure what I want to do in college, but I'm going to the University of West Georgia and I'll be successful! I am 5'3 with brown eyes brown hair with a medium brown skin complexion. Many people say that I have "white girl's hair" because it's long and pretty (and wavy). My favorite colors are pink and purple. I love to eat almost anything! I love Taco Bell or McDonald's!! I can come off as shy at first, but I make friends very easily! I've been categorized as an Alpha female! There aren't too many of these, but I do enjoy: Their Eyes Were Watching God, Native Son, Animal Farm, All Quiet On The Western Front, Holes, Waterhouse Down, and just a few others that don't come to mind at the moment.

Heroes:

My mother is my biggest hero and I love her and miss her so very much! I wish you were here to help guide me through some of the tough times, but I know that you are looking down steering me in the right direction, I love you!(LaVelma Carswell Tyson 1952-2005)Aaliyah Dana Haughton is also another hero of mine. She accomplished so much in her 22 years on Earth. If I can impact so many people in such a positive way in 22 years, than I have also achieved something great! Love you and miss you Baby Girl!
