------------------This crazy jock is a DJ/Jock and Program Director of the Bethune-Cookman University owned WRWS-FM 99.1. Nailz was an Intern at Black Entertainment Television (BET) and just completed a Summer Internship at WJHM 102 Jamz in Orlando. He's reppin We The Best Def Jam Music Group, the new record label founded by Miami DJ and voice of Miami DJ Khaled and Nailz is the host of the Asylum on 99.1 FM in Daytona Beach where he is playing the newest Hip Hop and R&B. During his show he has a part titled "Dig it or Ditch it", this is where an established artist or up and coming independent artist has their music put on blast by playing it on air and the listeners get to vote on it live on air are by telling Nailz if they dig the song or if he should ditch the song. If the digs outweigh the ditches the song is put into rotation at the radio station and by Nailz at the clubs, it even gets distributed amongst Nailz's DJ friends. If the ditches outweigh the digs......let's just say Waste Management will be there to pick it up. "The Crazy Kid" graduating Senior at the historically black college/university Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida he says, "Its a blessing for me to be doing what I want to do at such a young age and while Im in school. By the time I graduate I hope I have a job at a P1 Commercial Radio station or at BET as an on-air personality, but if a Clear Channel radio station, Cox radio station, Radio One radio station, CBS, Emmis, or any other big company owned radio station come knocking at my door before BET. I'm out!!!!!" The Florida Native enjoys playing any sport, shopping, road trips, chilling with his friends & family, treating himself every once in a while to a treat, one on one time, eating, and has an undying love for music. His take on life is obvious. "Life is not just a journey or a test, it's a record that is spinning and God is the DJ. He's spinning, scratching, and mixing the tunes ya feel me!!! When the party is over, he is not just taking the record off of the turntable; he is pulling the plug on the whole show." Nailz said. When being asked about rumors and critics he responded by saying, "Man, I'm a living testimony of proving your critics wrong. Haters will do everything in their power to hurt your character by spreading rumors and even criticizing your works. Opinions are like assholes.... everybody has one. Its ridiculous how extremely low people will go just to hurt you or your character. The more successful you are, the more they will spread the rumors so stay positive and keep shining on them haters. Just buy some hatablockas!!! (Laughing heavily) Acafool what up?!!!!!" Nailz has achieved many goals in his life and says he is far from done. Graduating, being on TV & continuing his radio career are just a few of his utopian endeavors. The fuel behind Nailz's fire is his younger brother who is also an up & coming DJ in the game DJ Nutz. "Me and my baby brother are so close that you will need a pair of pliers to pull us apart. That's my heart and my mini me. We do everything together." This quote is a motivator for this young jock. "Get a job doing something you like and you'll never have to work a day in your life."
