I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

1987: mom, dad, me, my sister I AM: a son, an older brother, a friend, a homie, a house head, a beat lover more than a lyric lover, a listener, a dancer, a music lover, a singer, a Dodger fan, a Laker fan, a Giant hater, a Bonds hater, a Kings hater, Warrior hater, a horrible drinker, a cook, a procrastinator, an individual. I WAS: a piano player for 8 years, a saxaphone player for 2 years, a boyfriend, a taekwondo student for 8, a hopeless romantic, a SUPER lazy person, a conformer. I am someone who needs to change alot of things in my life but at the same time needs to keep other things constant. Born in Los Angeles, I lived in the valley (Northridge to be exact...you know where the big ass earthquake was? yea there) until I finished my 8th grade there. When I finished junior high school, my parents' business wasn't doing so well so my family and I picked up all of our belongings and moved to *drum roll* Las Vegas, NV. Las Vegas?! WTF. I was supposed to leave everything that I knew and loved for 14 years and start new in Vegas. However, it turns out that our move to Las Vegas was probably one of the best things that happened in my life because I met my homies for life and some tight friends and people also. As I was about to finish my 4 years of sober life at Durango High School, I applied to colleges. I only applied to the schools in the UC (University of California) system. Honestly though, I didn't think my grades and my SAT score was good enough to get into any "good" schools so I was facing the fact that I had to go UC Riverside or UC Santa Cruz and I was going to be reluctantly grateful about those acceptances. However, the last acceptance letter I recieved was from UC Irvine (THANK GOD!!! hahahaha). That day was probably one of the most happiest days of my life, knowing that I didn't have to live in the boonies/ghetto at UCR and knowing that I didn't have to prance around with the deer in the forests of UCSC. No offense to anyone who's going to or went to UCR or UCSC but....PHEW!!!!. LOL. So off to Irvine to start yet a new chapter in my life. College was...hm...how do I say this without exaggerating...AMAZING. In college, I met so many people who I consider life long friends which I would never trade for anything. Along with that, going to UC Irvine opened so many opportunities and gave me so many experiences that I will hold onto for life (pledgeship, freshman year dorming, fraternity, the girl(s) that I've met, the homies that I've made). At UCI, I was able to perform on stage in front of huge audiences (to be a singer/performer has always been my dream HAHA ... seriously though -_-) at AGC talent show, Greek Songfest, Battle of the Pledge Dances...haha what memories. I would have never been able to do any of the things that I've done or experienced if it wasn't for attending UCI. After finishing my undergraduate studies in Psychology/Social Behavior (4 years that were not sober haha) I had to leave all my friends and everything that I knew for the past 4 years to move back to Las Vegas. But oh how I've missed my mom, dad, younger brother, younger sister, and friends while I've been gone.My Company.Mark my words...I will be back in California in 3 years!
