16 July 2003To the Reader:Greetings and good day!Last year, the class of Ateneo de Manila High School a2004 set up a charity known as the Read Project. Its aim was to supply public schools with high-quality imported textbooks. It succeeded in supplying over 3000 English and Math textbooks to Concepcion Elementary, a public school in Marikina. For this, it won the Ateneo’s St. Ignatius Award for community service.This year, a2004 plans to continue its Read Project operations, expanding to schools in Leyte and Marinduque. To accomplish this, they have to raise funds to purchase the imported textbooks. One of their fund-raisers this year is to sponsor a play by the Ateneo’s Dulaang Sibol theater group. This play will be Sinta, to be held at the Dulaang Sibol Theater on Friday, July 25. The expected audience will be over 200 persons. Each audience member will receive a playbill with the show details. Also in this playbill will be space for ads. This is where you come in. You can help by sponsoring part of the play/playbill by placing an advertisement in the playbill.
