About Me

"If there really is a 'next Gram Parsons' sweepstakes, he could certainly be a front runner. In fact the voice itself might have been enough, but there is a lot more here than that." -- Marc Bristol, Blue Suede News ---I grew up in east Texas, have worked on the oil pipelines and owned several cabinet shops. What I really do is write and play songs - beer joint, roadhouse music. My music is influenced by the Byrds, Rolling Stones, Gram Parsons, Buck Owens, George Jones, Kris Kristofferson, and all the underground cosmic cowboy bands of the early 70's. I guess I was heavily influenced by country music as it was interpreted by rock musicians from Los Angeles and San Francisco. -----You can find my music on my three indie albums: Something's Going On (Music Lane 1995); Trailer Parker Angel (Dusty 2001); Amped Out (Errant Records 2006). ------"Something's Going On" is hard to find these days, but there are some European sources. "Trailer Park Angel" is easily available on the internet. The very recent "Amped Out" is not only available everywhere, but you can also buy individual tracks on all the music download sites.
