Christen Cole

About Me

If music is art, then the guitar is a paintbrush for Christen Cole. To have the canvas always full is her ambition. With over three hundred original songs under her belt, Christen is on the brink of pursuing a dream that simply will not die. "In my opinion, the sound of heaven is a sound that would be relevant to the world around us," she says, "and I am aspiring to capture the sound of heaven and take it to the world." The singer/songwriter is striving to influence the music industry for Christ through unprecedented boldness, but while having secular appeal, too. However, Christen does not plan to incorporate the previous methods of other artists looking to "cross over." She is seeking to stay true to herself throughout the whole course of events, while staying true to God and her original calling. Listen for sounds reminiscent of the Goo Goo Dolls, Fiona Apple, and Dashboard Confessional, yet with a flavor all her own. Christen's music is guitar-driven set to intense vocals and occasional splashes of piano as well. No matter what your musical preference and style are, though, rest assured you can find something that you can listen to, something you can relate to, and something that can be your soundtrack for life.
