One generation will praise Your deeds to the next, each generation will talk about Your mighty acts. I will think about the glorious honor of Your majesty and the miraculous things You have done. They will announce what they remember of Your great goodness, and they will joyfully sing about Your righteousness.

Christian artists in the past were great, but this generation of Christian artists which are directed more towards the youth (our future), and also towards adults as well will be the greatest generation to give God the greatest praise, honor, and glory than ever before us.
Morningstar, formly known as the West Logan Church of God youth band Rain, started in late 2005 with their ministry to bring the name of Jesus Christ to anyone willing to listen through praise and worship music. After about a year of playing as the youth band, they broke away into their own ministry changing their name to Morningstar making their first major appearance as a new band name at Pneumafest 2006, playing with major Christian artists such as 7thTimeDown, Instereo, Jme Medina, Newsong, and many more.
As time went on, more shows were played and their ministry and fanbase grew larger. At the beginning of the new year '07, bassist Adam Curry and drummer Price Couch left the band joining another, but later on returned that following summer so the original band could start playing again. As of now we're writing a record which has been decided to be entitled "With Love." Lead vocalist and guitarist Chris Curry says, "the songs are pretty much all complete as of now, but we're still trying to better structure some of the remaining songs so they will sound their best." Just estimating for the time being, but look for the album to be out in stores sometime after the New Years. Our myspace will be updated weekly most likely, so check back every so often and see what's happening in our world.
We're ordinary guys who love God and have fun doing ministry through music. We're all pretty young and in college (some have already graduated), ranging from the ages of 18 - 23. We don't consider ourselves "rockstars" or whatever you'd call musicians of our status today; it's all for God to bring Him glory and praise, no glory whatsoever towards us. This new album, the songs are really cool and we can't wait to hear how they're going to turn out in the studio, and we also can't wait for you all to hear them as well; we believe God's going to flood your lives with miracles, blessings, and all of the above through these songs. Some songs you'd just want to jump up and down and have a great time for Jesus, and other songs all you'll want to do is praise and worship God giving Him all that you have, letting Him take control of your life. Even though these songs that God has annointed us to write are great we think, so what if we don't get on the Christian music charts; it wouldn't matter if we did or didn't; we'd still be doing what we'd regularly be doing, and that's praising God through our music ministry. God has a plan for everyone's life, and we don't need to rush into things too fast before God makes a move because we could then be making the worst mistake of our lives. Remember, without God all of us are nothing, so everyday (even though we're not perfect) we need to live our lives according to the way He wants us to live.
