You know I.... Need You Need You Need You Need You Need You

About Me

Im Me. Not to much more can be said. Im the one you can call in the middle of the night if something is wrong, yet the same one you can call if you want to hang out. Im on my grown woman forreal and dont have time for the games. Im all about my education right now, as Im making big strides, and nothing can stop me, as long as I have God by my side and He gives me the strength to stay focused. Music and Poetry are becoming more a part of my life moreso now than ever. Poetry is my weakness, my hope, my passion, and my desire. Something that I long for, that only a pen and pad can take that longing away.

My Interests

I love to laugh, chill with friends and family, work, watch tv, write poetry, listen to music, eat, sleep, and just be myself

I'd like to meet:

People from all over, friends, family, even my haters, I like to meet the people that wish the worse on me, as I prove them wrong time and time again. Peace & Blessings

The hardest thing in life to learn is which bridge to cross and which to burn. As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Change Gon’ Come

I could have wiped my hands of you years ago I could have turned my back on you tears ago But black man, I loved you Even when they criticized you, I spoke highly of you You see, I’ve played my position and put no man above you I am remembering our history, and I recognize your potential Knew that talk of no-good men would be detrimental So I decided to uplift you Give my loyalty as a gift to you Be your balance when life became too swift for you I thought that the love would be reciprocal They tell me now that this end result is typical But black man I don’t want to be a believer They say that when a black man gets a good woman, he doesn’t know how to treat her He’ll let his pride get in the way and pretend not to need he They say he’ll grow restless and decide not to keep her

Black man, reach out your hand to me I want you to come stand with me Whatever happened to those days when you cared for me? When you dared to be a man for me This can’t be God’s plan for me Black man I am a woman of faith I believe that your change is coming and I’m willing to withstand the wait I know that you are made in his image, but you are human And your prone to make mistakes And I’d be a fool to come this far just to turn my back on you today So even if it means that I suffer through more heartaches, I’ll wait I’ll wait until your broken back becomes straight Until you realize this street struggle is no longer your fate, I’ll wait I’ll wait until you no longer use marijuana as an escape Until you pull up your pants, tighten your laces, and step up to the plate, I’ll wait I’ll wait until you no longer treat me as second rate I’ll wait until you remember me I understand that I too have to grow for you to recognize the queen in me But I want you to know that you can still lean on me Black man, I will cry for you For those times you couldn’t, even when you tried to For the years that you’ve been lied to The opportunities denied to you For the times when life seems to pass by you Black man I’m not leaving For the times that I was blatantly disrespected, yeah, I’m still bleeding The tears that fell from a broken heart, but hey, I’m still breathing I just don’t want to find out years from now that my support was all that you were needing So if you would lead, then I too will promise to be patient Just don’t forget that your sister is waiting
