About Me

I am a freelance journalist and critic living in Scotland and specialising in theatre and the arts. Publications I write for include The Guardian, Scotland on Sunday, the Sunday Times, The Herald and The Scotsman. From 2000-2003, I was the editor of The List magazine, Glasgow and Edinburgh's arts and events guide. Prior to that, I was the chief theatre critic of The Herald (Glasgow) and a freelance writer.
