My Interests

Reading, painting, cooking, german wines, shopping, music, imported beers, art, and animals (as you can see).

I'd like to meet:

I like meeting new friends because I always learn something new... new places to go, new bands to listen to, new artists to check out, new movies to watch, new drinks to try...(as you can see, I am a lot of fun!!!)..

Music:

80s new wave, Andrew Bird, Arto Lindsay,Ani Difranco,Clutch , Badly Drawn Boy, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tori Amos, Beck, Magnetic Fields, Jeff Buckley, Bjork, The Flaming Lips, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, The Hollies, Led Zeppelin, Cyndi Lauper, Fiona Apple, Tears for Fears, Ben Folds, Primus.

Movies:

Anything written by Quentin Tarantino. Marx brothers, Woody Allen, musicals such as Chicago, Cabaret and Fiddler on the Roof, Mel Brooks--especially Blazing Saddles. I also love cheap horror flicks such as Evil Dead (There is something undeniably sexy about Bruce Campbell...must be that chin!) and Night of the Living Dead. Fun stuff.Ummm...Secretary, City of Lost Children, Pan's Labyrinth, American Psycho, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.Oh yeah, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Some of the best acting I have ever seen. Really. One of my favorite quotes from a movie is from Donnie Darko:Donnie: Why do you wear that stupid bunny suit? Frank: Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?

Television:

I love Iron Chef! I have no idea why! I really love Wallace and Gromit too. It's so cute and it cheers me up when I am in a crappy mood. I also watch Curb Your Enthusiasm and Family Guy regularly.

Books:

Anything by David Sedaris, Kurt Vonnegut, and John Irving. Confederacy of Dunces, Wasp Factory, The Color Purple, Cruddy.David Sedaris reading one of his essays:

Heroes:

Al Pacino.
