Lowlight was an underground synth rock periodical that originated in the UK, and was founded by Jack Wickham. It has now been bought out by Jamie Golledge and Eliza Bull Productions and has been established online as a comprehensive website and e-zine in order to gain exposure and support for synth rock as a genre. (trip hop, industrial, electro punk, synth pop, any
electronic influenced rock).
Lowlight includes live reviews, album reviews, and full featured interviews with synth rock artists. We are now based in Canada, and have gathered a large organization with a great deal of support from overseas. We are are hoping to widen the audience over here for a number of what we feel to be superior synth rock acts.
We launched our website with a full feature on IAMX (UK), Lightfromadeadstar(NYC), and Il Attire (CAN), as well as live reviews, album reviews, and other synth rock related information. We plan to continue to highlight the best acts in synth rock internationally, so keep a close ear if you are looking for new synth rock acts to listen to.
Please email us with your website/EPK/information at [email protected] if you are interested in being featured, or wish to have your CD reviewed. Please keep in mind we work several months in advance.
Warm Regards,
lowlight.
