Showtunes (sans RENT and Hairspray), I like basically anything Sondheim, Sweeney Todd, She Loves Me, Carousel, Rocky Horror, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Les Mis, my favorite Broadway singers are Audra McDonald, Marin Mazzie, Bernadette Peters, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Robert Westenberg, Michael Ball, and Lea Salonga. Other stuff includes Billy Joel, Madonna, David Bowie, Queen, Rolling Stones, Opera (Joan Sutherland is my favorite singer), U2 (none of the new shit), Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blondie, No Doubt, most forms of classic rock, bad 80's music. I'm not going to be an ass and try to sound worldly and say I like everything, because I really don't.

I read mostly plays. A Streetcar Named Desire is my all time favorite play. Other ones I really really like are The Glass Menagerie, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (no pattern here, is there?), A Lie of the Mind, Long Day's Journey Into Night, Agnes of God, and Neil Simon's Eugene Morris Jerome trilogy
