About Me
As i can't write the real song names in the right place, here they are:
-My Mother Thinks I'm A Steve Vai Groupie
-Fashion and Warfare
-Rocking Chair .. 12
-Secret Mardi Gras With The Strange Alien Space Love Groove Thing.
As you might have guessed, i play everything by myself, except the banjo which is played by a friend of mine.
About the music i enjoy:
Of course i like guitar music, but that's not evreything to me. The thing i love is Music even if it's played on a guitar or not.
I listen to Wilson Picket, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, The Meters, Rebirth Brass Band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dr John, Buddy Guy, Buddy Rich, The Temptations, Van Halen, Nino Ferrer, G Love and Special Sauce, Jimi Hendrix, Louis Armstrong, Ahmet and Dweezil Zappa plus the guys listed as my influences and a lot more without any consideration for any style .
-Talking about guitar: Steve Cropper or Steve Vai : I don't care about the style as long as the guy is called Steve.
-Talking about Bass: Larry Graham (Sly and The Familly Stone), Donald "Duck" Dunn (Stax records), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Nathan Watts (Stevie Wonder), Cliff Burton (Metallica),T.M Stevens, Cliff Williams (AC/DC), Victor Wooten (Bela Fleck and the Flecktones), David Barrard (Dr John), Francis "Rocco" Prestia (Tower of Power) are some bass players i like.
-Talking About Drums: John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Joseph "Zigaboo" Modeliste (The Meters), Roger Hawkins (Aretha Franklin, Wilson Picket), Bernard Purdie (Aretha Franklin and thousands of records), Herman Ernest III (Dr John), Alex Van Halen (Van Halen), Terence Higgins (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Earl Palmer (the guy is the precurssor of rock drumming), Joe Travers (Z), Buddy Rich, Jeffrey "Houseman" Clemens (G Love ans Special Sauce), Raymond Pounds (Stevie Wonder), Brian Tichy (Pride And Glory), Roger Taylor (Queen), Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), David Garibaldi (Tower of Power), Stanton Moore are some drummers i really appreciate.
