hey. my name is jami. I have been influenced with tae-kwon-do/shotokan since i was born. I decided to start taking tae-kwon-do at the age of 4 by my choice and now have achieved becoming a black belt, making new friends, learning about self dicipline and much more. i've competed in several tournaments placing no less then 3rd. Sensei started off telling my mom and I that i was too young and that i would quit immediately. But he let me anyways. I started and i never wanted to stop. Today, they have classes for kids that are that young because we had found out kids that age can succeed if they really want to. I think that doing tae-kwon-do has given me the concepts of dicipline, determination, high-spirt, perseverance, and now i am able to mostly defend myself just in case. Training with the same Sensei my whole life and loving this activity/sport has made the greatest impact on my life then anything else so far. I have been training for 9 years now and i have took part in many tournaments, fiestas, and in-class activities who has turned me into a better person. I just want to thank Sensei Ali Jafari for everything hes put me thru to learn and find the best in me.
