Khamai is the incarnation of the imagination and dream of Alesha "Lee Lee" Brewster. An upcoming co-ed dance crew in the Bay Area, Khamai stands solid in its motto: "Dance Without Boundaries." The focus of Khamai is to build community through the cultural expression of hip-hop by allowing everyone involved to share his or her talents and ideas, thereby sharing the unity of life.Breaking ground in 2003, Khamai has performed at many major events. Workshops are in the making and upcoming Jazz and Youth programs are in the works. With these programs, Khamai hopes to expand to those who have the passion and drive for dance.Khamai is determined to reach all corners of the earth spreading its message of movement, sound, and peace.
