About Me

Modern Motion’s influences are the social, spiritual, and political forces that shape our world today. We believe that reggae is a natural form of music. Upbeat and danceable it is a form of tribal music mixed with European melodies and language. The ability of these upbeat songs concerning issues of war, corruption, love, greed, and revolution to move people, have given a new meaning to the music of the current time we live in. Modern Motion has been living on the beach in Northern Florida for the last 3 years playing small bars, concert venues and night clubs. In the spring of 2007 a new drummer was added to begin writing new material.
Kyle (drums) Justin (bass) and Andy (guitar) play a new wave hip hop rock reggae crunk Spanish punk jazz salsa disco metal. Playing together and writing music with many different artists have helped to create a new and inventive style. Josh (vocals) complements the music with songs of real meaning and truth about the world we live in.
All doors are open for touring and making music for the rest of our lives. In late January of 2008 we have begun to hit the net and we have been growing ever since. Modern Motion has shared the stage with touring artists such as State Radio, Nappy Roots, Pras Michel (Fugees) and countless others. BOOKING INFO [email protected]
